Podstrana is a municipality in Croatia in the Split-Dalmatia county. It has a population of 7,341 (2001 census), 97% which are Croats.
In the Second World War, the town suffered 131 casualties. Out of the civilian casualties, 31 were killed by Italian forces, 11 by German forces, 12 by Yugoslav Partisans, and 7 by Allied bombing.
